World of Madison-Spring
When my Dad gave me my first camera on my way to spend a year in Iceland in 1977, he told me, put the sun behind you, be sure to frame your photo, and have your photo tell a story. Later I took photography classes and compared notes with other photographers, but it was these initial tips that became the basis for my photo endeavors. Then I reached the point where I decided to try to break some of these rules to see what I’d get. I try to capture images that allow the observer to recall the familiar as well as tap the unknown. The images in these photo galleries were collected in my home base of Madison, Wisconsin and while traveling to various places in North, Central, and South America, Europe and Asia.
